LONG AGO TOMORROW (The Raging Moon) (1972) - Some Of The Best CZECH Movie Posters (Part 6)
A little known British movie directed by Bryan Forbes in 1972, The Raging Moon (retitled Long Ago Tomorrow) tales the story of a wheelchair stuck young man - played by Malcolm McDowell who makes his way in the British society despite his handicaps and finds romance with actress Nanette Newman
While you can check an excerpt of the movie here, the reason I included this title in this 10 part blog is obviously for the sheer beauty of the Czech poster above created by one of the best Czech movie poster artists, Karel Vaca

the—dream—machine:

Poster variants for Jerzy Kawalerowicz’ Mother Joan of the Angels. Top two are by Karel Teissig and Waldemar Swierzy, all others artists unknown. Lovely graphic variations that all add to the presentation of the film.

the—dream—machine:

Stunning posters by Czech master of graphic design Karel Leissig. They are just perfect constructions of shape, colour and texture, unnervingly surreal, yet bold and direct at the same time. It gives each film an air of mystery and imagination and just makes me want to seek out each of these celluloid treasures!
